History of Football (Soccer)

Proof of which can be seen in numerous traditional societies, ancient Greek society being an example. The beginnings of the modern game however started in Britain in the times leading in to the commercial revolution. These games were regularly violent and there wasn't any specific limitations on which body parts you might use.

Folks were feeling pride and allegiances to their fast growing cities and shortly folk wished to represent their own cities in competition with the other new fast growing cities around them. Shortly games where-by you might only use your feet were being played in stadiums between the burgeoning settlements.

At this time in history there were no crossbars on the goals, only a bit of delicate tape adjoining 2 poles. Other differences included, as you may suspect, no use of goal tender gloves but also importantly no offside rule, the lack of such a governing meaning powerful attack bias with games often ending ten a piece or bigger. More cities made their own soccer groups and by the start of the 20 th century the structure of how soccer is contested today with leagues and cups were prepared. Also around this time the game was starting to be exported around the world with groups beginning states like Germany and Italy around this time. With this world recognition it wasn't long before the game was being contested on the world stage in the likes of the planet Cup or ECU Championships. Tactically the game was changing too, with the advent of the offside cross out went five strikers and in came more defensive approaches, groups like Italy trailblazing such approaches to the game.

Britain was losing its supremacy and by the fifty's Spanish and Italian club teams as well as South Yank global groups especially rose to an equal footing. With this bigger professionalism has been introduced into the game with better use of nourishment and exercise as well as strict controls on player's lifestyles.

The use of emerging technologies and help from the likes of sports trick cyclists are all being used taking the game to new highs.
